"Hagrid," Sophia said "you said the Ashwinder eggs are valuable, what about any fur of other animials might lose? Are are those things valuable in the wizarding world too?"

"Scales? Fur?" Hagrid paused, adding a log to the fire, and scratched his shaggy head. "Oh, course! Ashwinder scales hold fire elemental magic, great for fireproofing potions and some high-end alchemy. Why d'you ask, Sophia?"

Sophia took a deep breath and laid out her idea: "Well, Hagrid. You see, you care for so many amazing and valuable creatures, like the Ashwinder, the Thestrals (Sophia could see them, having witnessed her past life's plane crash), Buckbeak the Hippogriff (if timeline allows, or substitute other gentle creatures like unicorns)... They naturally shed things all the time – scales, feathers, fur, shed horns, even naturally lost teeth... To you, these might just be 'mess' that needs cleaning up..."

She paused, watching Hagrid's expression, then continued: "But these things could be very valuable materials for Potions, Alchemy, even wandmaking! I know you care for them out of love, not for these by-products. But... but I really need the money, Hagrid." Sophia's voice lowered, tinged with embarrassment but honest. "My family struggles, and I need to buy necessary school supplies... So I was wondering..."

"If... if you'd allow it," Sophia looked up, her eyes full of hope and a touch of pleading, "I could come regularly to help you clean and care for these animals! While ensuring they are safe and comfortable, collect those naturally shed, no-longer-needed materials? Like sweeping up shed scales, collecting fallen feathers, picking up shed horns... I promise, absolutely! I would never harm a single hair on them! I just want to... well, recycle? Turn things that would be thrown away into a bit of useful money. Any money earned, we could... split? Or, whatever you think is fair! That way I can help you out a bit, and... well, make a bit of gold?"

"Merlin's old spectacles!" Hagrid slapped his thigh with a loud smack, startling Fang. "Sophia! You clever little thing! Why didn't I think o' that!"

He paced excitedly, his large frame making the floorboards groan: "Yeah! Yeah! Professor Flitwick asked me jus' last week if I had any spare unicorn tail hairs, said his stock was runnin' low! Them unicorns in the Forest love rollin' in the pine needles, shed loads o' hair each time! An' Buckbeak (or other creature), the feathers it sheds during moltin' season, so shiny! Madam Pomfrey's always complainin' 'bout the price o' Dittany an' Dragon Liver... If we could trade these naturally shed bits for a bit o' gold, get the creatures better feed or
